My parents and I are babysitting my niece Mira for the next 2 days because my brother and Lavina are going to Mexico for a week with some friends. I am so excited to have Mira with us, but I also feel kind of bad because I know this is hard for Lavina. She's not that excited to go because she doesn't want to leave Mira but they already planned the trip so she's going to try and have a good time anyway. Mira will be fine, she won't even remember this when she's older, plus my Mom is super excited to spend some quality time with her granddaughter.
Anyway, my brother and Lavina are here now. They're sleeping over and then going to the airport in the morning and then Mira will be with us for Monday and Tuesday- then she goes to stay with Lavina's family for a few days, and then back to us again next Monday.
So stay tuned for lots pictures of my very cute, very chubby niece. Seriously, she weighs as much as a 12 or 18 month old but is only 7 months old!
