Quickie

No, not that kind.

Just a quick update for the blog.

Babysitting Mira was sooooo much fun! I loved waking up to a baby in my house! But I have to admit, I had it pretty easy. My parents took on most of the feeding/sleeping/and diaper changing responsibilities because I had to work and go to class while she was here. So I pretty much covered play time, which was AWESOME! She loves peek-a-boo and songs. Whenever we sang to her she would just stare at us like we were the most important person in the room. Luckily I'm working at a pre-school because I had plenty of songs to sing to her. The funniest was when my dad would sing to her, she loved it and was totally mesmerized.

I will post pictures of her visit soon!

More updates-
My summer class is going surprisingly well. Next week is the last week so I have a lot more work to do but I think I can get it done.

Karl came back from Florida on Wednesday. When I picked him up from the airport I saw a student from SWHS! I don't think he saw me, but I drove by him. Hilarious.

Also, at the chocolate shop I served one of Karl's students! I knew her because I visited Karl's school on the last day of the school year so I met most of his students. She didn't recognize me at first but when I reminded her of my visit she was like "You're Mr. Mordhorst's girlfriend!!! I still can't believe Mr. Mordhorst even has a girlfriend." That was funny, she will be in 8th grade next year so Mr. Mordhorst has the pleasure of teaching her again!

I'm working all day at the chocolate shop tomorrow so maybe I'll see her again.

That's it!
